Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for growing revenue and strengthening customer relationships across Estes Industries’ key sales channels: B2B, Education, and D2C. This role combines proactive business development with account management and sales process execution to support both new customer acquisition and account expansion efforts.
As a core contributor to Estes' commercial growth, the Sales Account Executive will own a portion of the sales pipeline, support campaigns, manage strategic customer interactions, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless fulfillment and high-impact results. This position is compensated through a combination of base salary and incentive compensation tied to revenue, account performance, and sales KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Ownership & Revenue Growth
  • Manage and grow assigned accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and retention strategies.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospects and support inbound lead qualification.
  • Partner with B2B, Education, and D2C teams to execute sales plans across channels.
Sales Execution & Opportunity Development
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Customer Experience to build campaigns and move opportunities through the funnel.
  • Track customer touchpoints, deal stages, and close rates in CRM and reporting tools.
  • Support the proposal preparation, pricing, and contract coordination for customer deals.
  • Represent Estes in external communications, customer meetings, and events.
Order Management & Account Support
  • Enter and verify orders in ERP and Shopify platforms with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and customer-specific terms.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on open orders, delivery timelines, and account-specific needs.
  • Maintain updated customer SOPs, contact records, and portal documentation.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build long-term customer relationships that support retention and growth.
  • Serve as the primary contact for mid-tier and developing accounts; escalate major issues appropriately.
  • Monitor satisfaction and proactively address challenges or unmet needs.

Performance Metrics & Incentives
Incentive compensation is tied to:
  • Revenue contribution (new, renewal, and upsell)
  • Opportunity generation and funnel impact
  • Customer retention and satisfaction scores
  • Timeliness and accuracy of sales operations

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years experience in account management, inside sales, or sales enablement
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Familiarity with ERP and ecommerce systems (Shopify preferred)
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI a plus
