About the team:The Walmart Data Ventures Data Readiness team manages and optimizes technical and business data assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Collaborating with Data Stewards, Analysts, Product Managers, Engineers, and Scientists, the team designs and maintains data solutions aligned with business goals. Their work supports data-driven decision-making by delivering reliable insights and fostering effective data governance. Operating in a collaborative environment, the team emphasizes precision, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement to enhance Walmart’s data capabilities and drive meaningful business outcomes.
What you'll do: - Analyze complex business problems using advanced data analytics and automation techniques to identify root causes and recommend effective technology solutions.
- Define key metrics and success criteria to measure the impact and progress of data-driven initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and validate data sources ensuring data quality and relevance for business needs.
- Translate business requirements into data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and deliver compelling data visualizations and insights tailored to stakeholder audiences.
- Mentor and guide team members on analytical methods, tools, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging trends and applying innovative data solutions.
What you'll bring: - Extensive experience in data analysis, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of data strategy, data quality management, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable data-driven solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Expertise in identifying and validating data sources, performing data quality assessments, and ensuring data fit for purpose.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring team members and guiding data analytics projects to successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights and influence stakeholders effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
