The Director of Global Ecommerce Growth Marketing is responsible for leading Skullcandy's global growth engine across performance marketing, CRM, lifecycle, affiliate, and influencer channels. This role will own strategies that maximize revenue, drive consumer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through data-driven, full-funnel campaigns. Reporting directly to the VP, Global Ecommerce & Growth, this individual will play a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering Skullcandy's ecommerce vision.
Primary Functional Responsibilities
- Lead Skullcandy's growth marketing strategy across paid media, CRM, retention, affiliate, and influencer programs to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage a team of channel specialists and agency partners responsible for execution across paid search, paid social, display, and affiliate networks.
- Develop and oversee the customer lifecycle roadmap, driving engagement, repeat purchase, and loyalty across email, SMS, and owned channels.
- Partner with brand and creative teams to ensure messaging is consistent, culturally relevant, and optimized for performance.
- Define and manage growth KPIs - CAC, LTV, ROAS, CRM health, and channel efficiency - with a strong focus on continuous testing and optimization.
- Expand Skullcandy's affiliate and influencer programs, identifying strategic partnerships that drive scalable, high-quality traffic and sales.
- Leverage data and insights to inform marketing investments, segmentation, creative testing, and personalization strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce, Merchandising, and Brand Marketing to align growth strategies with business priorities.
- Stay ahead of emerging growth platforms, tools, and trends - from creator marketing to AI-driven optimization.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in ecommerce and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth across DTC and marketplace platforms.
- Proven success in developing and executing data-driven strategies that achieve revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, uncover insights, and make informed decisions.
- Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), ecommerce platforms, and marketing technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns and driving ROI across multiple channels.
- Brand marketing mindset with experience in consumer electronics or board sports industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
