The Role

The Director of Regional Accounts (DRA) leads and oversees activities of a team of Regional Account Managers responsible for driving growth across the western half of the United States. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a strong leader with deep experience managing regional accounts in the beverage or CPG space. In addition to leading the West region team, the Director will serve as the primary point of contact for several high-impact retail partners, including WinCo, AMPM, ExtraMile, Thorntons, and Travel Centers of America (TA). You’ll be the face of the brand with these accounts and ensure excellence in execution, program development, and partnership growth.

 **While the role is remote it is preferred the candidate live in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, or Minnesota**

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Account Managers across the western U.S.
  2. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key retail partners: WinCo, AMPM, ExtraMile, Thorntons, and TA.
  3. Drive sales strategy and execution across all regional accounts within the West territory, ensuring alignment with national goals.
  4. Manage account-specific promotional planning, business reviews, and joint business plans with top customers.
  5. Analyze sales trends, performance data, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support customer initiatives and resolve issues.
  7. Ensure high levels of performance and accountability within the team; mentor and support team development and career progression.
  8. Travel regularly (approximately 40–50%) to meet with customers, support your team, and attend key industry events.
  9. Other duties as assigned

Key Skills and Experience Required

  1. 5+ years of experience in regional or national account management within the beverage, CPG, or retail industry.
  2. 3+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to develop and lead high-performing sales teams.
  3. Existing relationships or familiarity with WinCo, AMPM, ExtraMile, Thorntons, and/or TA is highly preferred.
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  5. Ability to interpret data, understand business drivers, and develop compelling sales strategies.
  6. Results-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Valid driver’s license
