Job Description:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 3 to define specifications for and develop complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) applications. This individual works at a high technical level across all phases of software application development, focusing on designing, coding, and documenting robust solutions within our ERP environment. This role involves contributing to the evaluation of new software products, identifying systems integration issues across multiple platforms, and providing technical guidance to other software engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving small to medium-sized projects to timely completion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Define specifications for complex software applications and create, modify, and maintain complex X++ code within the Dynamics 365 F&O system.

· Design, code, test, debug, and document programs at a high technical level.

· Identify systems integration issues, compatibility, and performance across multiple platforms.

· Manage the execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful and timely completion.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software engineers.

· Evaluate new and existing software products to determine business fit and technical feasibility.

· Monitor and maintain third-party software products and integrations currently in use.

· Manage security requests, workflows, and other advanced tasks related to the ERP application.

· Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training critical IT functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant software development experience.

· ERP Expertise: Extensive experience (X++) in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX.

· Technical Proficiency: 3+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, including TSQL queries and stored procedures.

· Integrations: Working knowledge of ODATA endpoints and familiarity with Microsoft .Net/C# development techniques.

· Project Skills: Proven ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to resolve complex technical issues.

To perform this job successfully, the individual needs to demonstrate knowledge of these areas as they relate to the primary functions of the job.

· Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps.

· Experience in analyzing, planning, implementing, and administering workflows.

· Experience with troubleshooting D365 F&O issues.

· Experience working with the cloud-based ERP system.

· Experience and knowledge of EDI.

· Experience working with eCommerce applications.

· Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.

Hours of Work

· Normal business hours with occasional extended hours as needed.

Compensation Information:

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The range for this position is below: $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD Annual.
