Who we are:

Founded in 2011, Clearly Filtered has established itself as a trusted brand in the direct to customer, e-Commerce space by specializing in powerful water filtration products that are designed to help people reduce their exposure to harmful environmental toxins and contaminants found in tap water.

What we’re looking for:

We are hiring an E-Commerce Data Analyst to join our growing team here at Clearly Filtered! The E-Commerce Data Analyst is responsible for designing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring information across systems is accurate, connected, and actionable. As the sole Data Analyst on our Technology team, this role bridges technical systems and business outcomes – transforming raw data into insights that drive strategic business decisions and operational excellence.

We are looking for a builder, not just a report runner, but someone who can connect dots, surface insights, and shape the systems that drive growth. If you thrive on building clean, scalable systems, uncovering meaningful patterns, and collaborating cross-functionally, we would love to hear from you!

*This is an onsite role located in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA with the potential for a hybrid work schedule after training is completed.*

What you will do:

Data Infrastructure & Systems Integration

  • Build, evaluate, and maintain a unified data warehouse, consolidating data from Shopify, Recharge, Gorgias, and other business systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and trust through regular auditing, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Use APIs and integration tools to connect systems, streamline data flow, and improve accessibility.
  • Design scalable architecture that supports company growth and evolving analytical needs.

Analytics, Dashboards, & Reporting

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that unify metrics across Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into analytics to increase speed and depth of insight.
  • Ensure all reporting aligns with company objectives and supports data-driven decision making.

Strategic Insights & Collaboration

  • Partner directly with leaders to understand the “why” behind data requests, ensuring reporting aligns with strategic goals.
  • Analyze key business drivers, performance trends, and customer data to uncover opportunities and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Present insights through data storytelling — making complex information clear, compelling, and actionable.
  • Serve as a connector between technical systems and business outcomes, ensuring consistent data interpretation across teams.

Who you are:

  • A self-starter who enjoys exploring data, finding connections, and making recommendations.
  • A curious thinker who asks thoughtful questions before jumping into execution.
  • A collaborator who works well with cross-functional teams and communicates insights clearly.
  • A builder who takes pride in designing clean systems and scalable structures.

What you need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or full-stack analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management or architecture.
  • Proven ability to connect data from multiple systems to create unified, reliable reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau or comparable BI tools.
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and prioritizing high-impact projects.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing AI platforms for comprehensive data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Background in e-commerce, consumer goods, subscription-based, or DTC environments.
  • Familiarity with APIs, automation tools, and modern data architecture frameworks.
What we offer:
  • Collaborative team setting with a family-friendly feel
  • Work/Life Balance with 9am – 4pm working hours (yes, really)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plans with company match
  • 10 annual Company Paid Holidays
  • Bi-weekly company-paid car washes
Compensation:

$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
