The Opportunity

The Manager of Software Engineering - Commerce Platforms, will plan, manage, and allocate IT resources and coordinate interactions with clients within development and operations of our global Marketing IT Platform including social media and analytics. You will keep delivery teams focused through the design, development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application development solutions in context of email/SMS/push marketing, Meta Integration, YouTube Integration, Search Engine Optimization, Community/Campaign Management, Data Feeds, Enhanced Customer Recognition and Deep Linking. You will ensure that the operations team keeps our production systems up and available for our customers and quickly resolves any issues that arise. You will report to the Senior Manager Software Engineering. This is a hybrid position in West Chester, PA.

Your Impact

  • Oversee the technical solution and platform operation involving multiple systems and 3rd party applications
  • Guide Agile development and production operations of a global, large-scale, distributed, high-availability marketing IT platform
  • Motivate and coach staff to perform at peak efficiency and highest potential, while maintaining high quality standards
  • Stay informed about technical advances and industry best practices in partnership with senior level IT management to determine the applicability of new technology to achieve our goals and strategies
  • Work with product owners, solutions architects, business partners, vendors, and Agile delivery team to provide top-notch solutions
  • Support prioritization and budgeting process across product and portfolio management

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years Management experience in Marketing or eCommerce supporting systems and applications in a global, multi-market environment
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors
  • Hands-on Agile / Lean / Scrum experience
  • Experience with SAS, Unix Scripting, SQL, Adobe Analytics, Java Spring Framework, JSP, Web Services/SOA, Akamai CDN, HTML
