Your role at Sephora:
As a Lead Engineer - Data Engineering, you will: Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, and network concerns. Support the execution of our core data engineering, business intelligence, and data warehouse frameworks. Build data pipelines from systems such as CRM and Ecommerce. Understand and translate business needs into data models to support long-term, scalable, and reliable solutions. Create logical and physical data models to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy. Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models and tracking. Improve our data infrastructure and stay ahead of technological advancements. Work on Enterprise Notification Service, which is an application related to client messages that target notifications, promotes new products, and promote products coming back in stock. (Work from home permitted.)
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
· Five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the offered position, as a Systems Analyst, or in a related computer systems engineering role.
Experience must include:
· Implementation of web API using Spring Boot;
· Programming with Java;
· JSON;
· MySQL databases;
· Splunk;
· Deployment using Kubernetes;
· Implementation of microservices using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Sprint Cloud Technologies.
Salary: $167,377 to $200,943 per year depending on experience.
