The Opportunity:
As our Performance Web Designer, you will play a critical role in the execution of high-converting, visually compelling marketing assets that support our revenue-driving campaigns across landing pages, email, and paid media. This role helps power our test-and-learn growth model by enabling high-quality, rapid design output that aligns with brand standards while optimizing for performance.
This is a Part-Time (20 hours/week), Remote, Contractor role reporting to the Manager of Creative.
Who You Are:
- Agile & Execution-Focused: You’re fast, detail-oriented, and capable of turning around polished digital assets under tight timelines.
- Conversion-Minded: You design with performance in mind. You know how to apply layout and visual hierarchy to drive engagement and action.
- Collaborative & Adaptable: You thrive in a team environment, iterate based on feedback, and handle shifting priorities with ease.
- Who you are not: A brand-only or print-heavy designer. You aren’t afraid of performance metrics or CRO concepts—and you’re excited by design that drives business impact.
What You Have:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in digital or web design, preferably within DTC, eCommerce, or health & wellness brands
- Proficiency in Figma (core tool for design and collaboration)
- Experience designing CRO landing pages, mobile-first layouts, and campaign assets across paid and email channels
- A strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused page design and performance marketing assets
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
A plus!
- Familiarity with CRO platforms such as Unbounce, Webflow, or Instapage
- Basic animation or motion graphics capabilities
- Experience using tools like Buyist
What You’ll Get To Do:
Rapid Design Execution
- Turn around polished page comps, paid media creatives, and email assets quickly in response to fast-moving campaign needs
- Translate briefs into production-ready designs that reflect brand identity and performance goals
CRO & Performance Asset Design
- Create conversion-first landing pages with strong UX, visual clarity, and mobile responsiveness
- Support A/B testing by delivering design variations optimized for key performance metrics (CTR, CVR, engagement)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, creative, and growth teams to execute design iterations based on testing insights and feedback
- Maintain and evolve a visual library that reflects the HBI brand and supports scalable creative testing
