About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in guiding enterprise and mid-market clients through business analysis, digital strategy, and ERP transformation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Odoo-based solutions.
This is a highly client-facing, consultative role. You will lead discovery engagements, facilitate workshops, assess operational maturity, define future-state processes, and translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements and solution roadmaps.
You will work closely with clients, Odoo functional SMEs, project managers, and technical teams to ensure solutions are grounded in real operational needs and deliver measurable business value.
What You’ll Do
Business Analysis & Discovery Leadership
- Lead client workshops to document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Facilitate discovery sessions across operations, finance, supply chain, sales, and leadership teams.
- Conduct digital and operational maturity assessments.
- Evaluate existing technology stacks and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
ERP & Functional Solution Design
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and use cases.
- Support ERP solution design in collaboration with Odoo Functional SMEs and developers.
- Develop process maps, functional documentation, and solution recommendations.
- Contribute to module selection, implementation planning, and scope definition.
Strategic Advisory & Client Enablement
- Develop transformation roadmaps aligned to client goals and operational realities.
- Support data migration planning, UAT, and change management activities.
- Participate in solution walkthroughs, stakeholder presentations, and executive briefings.
- Assist in defining reporting, automation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Documentation & Delivery Support
- Produce high-quality business requirements documents, functional specs, and process diagrams.
- Support project planning, risk identification, and milestone tracking.
- Maintain structured documentation across engagements.
- Stay current on Odoo functionality, ERP best practices, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, or ERP-related roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations (Odoo strongly preferred).
- Direct experience in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sector is required.
- Proven background working with enterprise or mid-market organizations.
- Strong experience in client-facing consulting environments.
Business Analysis & Functional Skills
- Advanced workshop facilitation and requirements gathering expertise.
- Strong process mapping and optimization experience (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, manufacturing, inventory, finance).
- Ability to translate business needs into functional system requirements.
- Experience supporting UAT, change management, and system adoption.
Technical & Tool Knowledge
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and integrated business applications.
- Familiarity with Odoo modules and ERP data structures is a strong asset.
- Experience producing formal documentation, process diagrams, and business reports.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and system configuration.
Soft Skills
- Excellent business communication and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client engagements.

Education & Certification
- Degree or diploma in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar) is a strong asset.
