Senior Director, Merchandising – Bridal Focus

Are you a visionary merchandising leader with a passion for bridal? We’re searching for a bold, strategic Senior Director of Merchandising to lead one of the most emotionally resonant and high-impact categories in our business—Bridal. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of bridal retail and leave a lasting mark on a brand built around love.

In this newly created leadership role, you will spearhead end-to-end merchandising strategy for our bridal portfolio—driving growth, innovation, and customer engagement across every touchpoint. As a senior leader, you’ll lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to elevate the customer experience, optimize product performance, and strengthen our position as the destination for bridal jewelry.

Please note: Previous experience in Bridal category management is required, including demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic bridal initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the bridal vision: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive merchandising strategies that align with Signet’s Grow – Brand – Love strategy.
  • Drive category excellence: Lead category management and product assortment planning for Bridal and additional core categories, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Inspire and lead: Build, coach, and mentor a best-in-class merchandising team to deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Leverage data & trends: Use insights from sales performance, market research, and consumer behavior to make strategic assortment and pricing decisions.
  • Build strategic partnerships: Manage and grow vendor relationships, negotiating terms and fostering innovation to bring compelling product to market.
  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with marketing, ecommerce, planning, and operations to ensure flawless execution of merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor and innovate: Stay ahead of trends and competition, introducing fresh ideas that drive category growth and elevate the brand experience.
  • Enhance customer experience: Ensure merchandising strategies support seamless online and in-store journeys, including visual presentation and site functionality.

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading merchandising within the Bridal category, including strategic planning and execution
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in merchandising or category leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or related field
  • Demonstrated success in managing vendor relationships and high-level negotiations
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities
  • Highly analytical with a proven track record of making data-informed decisions
  • Passionate about retail trends, customer experience, and brand growth

Competitive Compensation – The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Final base pay rate will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience.
