Build the retention engine for two high-growth, better-for-you CPG brands
Build best-in-class lifecycle marketing from scratch across two distinct brands, audiences, and growth stages, working with a team that gets the strategic value of what you do.
Protein Candy is redefining the $40B candy category with functional, better-for-you products. Since launching mid-2024, we've grown into 4,000+ retail doors, including Kroger, Walmart Canada, and Circle K, with thousands more coming online by the end of the year.
Pulp & Press is a legacy cold-pressed juice brand being reinvented. You'll build its DTC foundation while breathing new life into a trusted name.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on lifecycle marketing strategist and operator who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems, data, and creative execution.
You'll own the complete lifecycle marketing engine across email, SMS, loyalty, and subscription for both brands, from strategy and campaign execution to tech stack management and performance analytics.
You'll write copy, build flows, manage integrations, run experiments, and deliver insights that drive repeat rate, LTV, and retention.
This isn't a role where you just set strategy and hand off execution. You're the one building the automations, analyzing the data, troubleshooting Shopify apps, and optimizing the welcome series because you're obsessed with the results.
You'll partner directly with leadership across both brands to shape lifecycle marketing, inform acquisition strategy, and build systems that scale.
What You'll Own
1. Lifecycle Strategy & Execution
Own end-to-end lifecycle across email, SMS, loyalty, and subscription.
Execute campaigns (copy, segmentation, deployment).
Build automated flows (welcome, win-back, VIP, abandonment, subscription).
Drive repeat rate, LTV, and retention targets.
2. DTC Tech Stack & Systems
Manage Shopify front-end and back-end, apps, subscription platform, loyalty tech, and integrations.
Troubleshoot issues.
Optimize site for conversion.
Evaluate and implement new tools.
Own day-to-day platform management.
3. Data & Performance Insights
Own lifecycle analytics.
Ensure data accuracy across Klaviyo, Shopify, GA4, TripleWhale.
Report on LTV, retention cohorts, flow performance, campaign ROI.
Build dashboards and turn data into actionable insights.
4. Experimentation & Optimization
Design and execute A/B tests across flows, campaigns, creative, offers, timing. Document learnings. Build testing roadmap that compounds results.
5. Automation & Brand Ops
Build internal automations (Zapier, workflows) to eliminate manual work.
Support campaign setup, QA, and troubleshooting. Create SOPs. Be the fix-it person.
