We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise.
Expedia Group is looking for an innovative problem-solver, that is detail orientated to elevate our channel performance management. You’ll be familiar with marketing concepts, comfortable with common reporting platforms such as Tableau, able to dissect data in Excel to get to key performance drivers and thrive in a modern, complex cross-channel marketing environment.
The Senior Manager of Performance Marketing will be responsible for managing the P&L across both SEO/AEO search areas, for all retail brands around the world and across all lines of business such as hotel, flight or vacation rentals. They will work closely with Finance on developing accurate forecasts and managing investments. With Competitive Intelligence, Analytics and other marketing channel teams to understand cross-channel SEO/AEO performance drivers, identify areas where we should be investing next and finally with our business partners on communicating performance regularly. They’ll also manage a team of analysts concentrating on reporting, anomaly monitoring, and ad hoc analyses and will mentor them to identify risks and opportunities within the program.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for critical business reporting for the SEO/AEO P&L focused on the Expedia Group retail brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo
Be the primary representative for the organic search marketing function in weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial meetings with senior members of the Marketing organization
Lead a team of four performance marketing analysts
Develop detailed financial forecasts with the support of the organic search and Finance teams
Help develop business cases for incremental investments with support from Analytics, Finance and organic search teams
Create insightful reporting in a timely and concise way that equips teams to make the right business decisions
Distill complex, cross-channel marketing data in a simple and understandable way for a broader audience
Experience and qualifications:
6+ years of experience in a fast-paced and highly analytical commercial environment (investment baking, eCommerce, technology); consulting a plus
Bachelor’s or Master’s with analytical focus (Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.) or related fields; or equivalent related professional experience; MBA a plus
A strong understanding of digital marketing and optimization, and sophisticated, hands-on knowledge of growth marketing channels
Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle problems and build strategic frameworks and financial models
A skilled people leader, passionate about developing talents
Proficient in MS Excel; basic to intermediate SQL skills preferred; knowledge of Python or other data processing scripts a plus
Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau
Experience presenting complex content to varied, often senior, internal and external groups
Highly collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functional areas and with all levels of management
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
