Role and Responsibilities

SEA’s MX Marketing team is seeking a highly analytical T shaped Paid Performance Marketer.  Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing and Measurement, the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing will lead customer acquisition and revenue growth through paid digital channels.  This dynamic and data driven marketer will oversee the strategic direction and execution of performance marketing campaigns of our mobile business division. 

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the performance marketing strategy across PLA, PMAX social, programmatic DSP’s and affiliate channels.

  • Manage a multi-million-dollar budget, ensuring efficient pacing, allocation, and reallocation based on real-time performance.

  • Bold leader with strong influencing and communication skills that has managed multiple stakeholders prioritizing projects and initiatives.

Acquisition & Growth

  • Drive measurable growth through paid media campaigns optimized for, ROAS, incremental revenue

  • Expand into new channels and platforms by building business cases, piloting tests, and scaling proven opportunities.

  • Partner with product and eCommerce teams to optimize traffic and the customer journey to maximize conversion rates.

  • Partner with our agency and PMM’s to create strategies and campaigns that maximize total performance market investment with respect to the larger media plan

Optimization & Analytics

  • Own and continuously refine forecasting models, budget pacing, and ROI tracking for performance-based channels.

  • Have a strong understanding of various MMM and MTA approaches and critically assess investment

  • Work with analytics to design and run incrementality, lift, and geo-experiments to validate campaign effectiveness beyond platform-reported metrics.

  • Conduct cohort and funnel analyses to inform bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and creative optimization.

  • Continuously test new creative, offers, ad formats, landing pages within existing programs to maximize CVR.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with finance, agency and the paid media team for budget planning, forecasting spend and on site clicks to S.com by category

  • Partner with creative teams to generate and test high-performing ad assets across formats and placements.

  • Partner with HQ marketing teams to ensure global best practices are being followed and execute ad hoc strategic projects and campaigns.

  • Work closely with Digital Product, Creative Services and UX teams to optimize landing page conversion

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience directly managing digital performance media channels, focused on PLA, Paid Social, PMAX & Retargeting

  • Strong history of managing tactical and strategic direct-response media objectives in a digital-first organization.

  • Comfortable navigating a complex organization and building cross-functional relationships.

  • 5+ years managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • Demonstrated executive presence and experience in technology or digital first organizations 

  • Working knowledge of SEO and GEO and it’s implications on paid campaigns

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
