Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 10+ years of expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) and Order Management Systems (OMS). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level eCommerce solutions that drive seamless customer experiences, operational efficiency, and business growth.

This role requires a blend of technical mastery, business analytic and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and meetings with key business stakeholders and creation of BRDs, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives

  • Evaluation of existing IT systems and business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and at times, technical specifications

Solution Architecture & Implementation:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) solutions.

  • Integrate and optimize Order Management Systems (OMS) to support omnichannel commerce, fulfillment, and post-purchase experiences.

  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all commerce platforms.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide thought leadership on Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices, emerging features, and industry trends.

  • Provide mentorship and expertise in solutioning non-OOTB processes

Integration & Optimization:

  • Drive integrations with CRM, payment gateways, logistics, and third-party applications.

  • Implement automation and personalization strategies to enhance customer engagement.

Strategic Contribution:

  • Provide insights on emerging technologies and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Champion innovation in customer experience, omnichannel commerce, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and stakeholder management skills.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise eCommerce platforms, with at least 7+ years focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).

  • Proven expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS), including design, integration, and optimization.

  • Strong understanding of omnichannel commerce, customer journey mapping, and digital transformation strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP).

  • Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, performance tuning, and security frameworks.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect, Salesforce Order Management Specialist) strongly preferred.

Preferred Attributes:

Compensation: Budgeted Range – $101,355.00 -131,165.00 the budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
