Are you a results-driven SEO expert with a proven track record of driving significant, compounding growth for Shopify e-commerce brands? We’re looking for a passionate and technically-adept SEO Manager to own and execute our entire search strategy, translating performance directly into traffic and revenue. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and scaling content performance.

Drive long-term, compounding traffic growth through technical and content SEO for our e-commerce brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and own the comprehensive SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and off-page) tailored for a high-growth Shopify e-commerce brand.
  • Technical SEO Ownership: Take full ownership of all technical SEO aspects, including advanced troubleshooting of crawl and index issues, optimizing site speed, implementing structured data/schema markup, managing canonical tags and pagination, and optimizing internal linking structure.

  • Content SEO Leadership: Lead content optimization efforts, including strategic collection and product page optimization, generating detailed content briefs for new articles, and executing a targeted link-building strategy.

  • Advanced Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and regular, proactive technical site audits using industry-leading tools.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content, web development, and product teams to embed SEO best practices into all platform updates and content creation workflows.

  • Performance Reporting: Rigorously track and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console (GSC), SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog, clearly tying results (rankings, organic traffic) to business-critical metrics (revenue, conversion rates).

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of dedicated SEO experience, specifically with a Shopify brand generating $2M+ in annual revenue.

  • Proven Results: Ability to provide demonstrable SEO results (case studies or dashboards) showing clear traffic, ranking, and revenue growth.

  • Deep Expertise: A profound, applied knowledge of both technical and content SEO that goes far beyond simple checklist execution.

  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical, data-mining, and reporting skills to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic decisions.

  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with international/multi-language SEO is a plus.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and advanced analytics dashboards.

  • Experience coordinating or managing relationships with content writers and/or SEO agencies.

  • Basic working knowledge of Klaviyo or other lifecycle marketing and email automation tools.
