The role

We’re Slingshot AI, and we’re building the first AI Therapy to help a billion people change their lives and minds in the ways they want to. To do that, we need the help of a one-of-one creative to build our content and community engine.

This isn’t only a social media management gig – we’re looking for someone who is comfortable putting their face in front of the camera and interested in shaping the social presence of our brand. We need someone who not only understands but loves using content to touch the lives of every viewer on the timeline.

Of course, you’ll spend your day in front of the camera and behind the keyboard, but you’ll also manage our agency partners, cast and develop fellow creators to scale our message, and foster a community of day-1 Slingshot supporters. About you:

  • Honed the craft of great content creation across multiple platforms (TikTok and Instagram in particular), either for your own channel or for brands.

  • Obsessed with organization and communication. You live in both the feed AND spreadsheets, you idolize inbox-zero, and you never have a red bubble on your messages.

  • Exceptional taste and brand intuition. You can name off your favorite ad campaigns and social media accounts and can clearly articulate what’s good and what’s bad with a social post across platforms.

  • Experience in marketing / brand, particularly in managing social accounts for both static graphics and video.

  • Not just an influencer, but an entrepreneur and brand builder.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the frontline of the Slingshot social brand. Design and execute a cross-channel content strategy with your face in front of the camera (especially on TikTok and Reels) and your fingers behind the keyboard (Twitter, FB, Instagram, etc.).

  • Iterate and help shape our consumer brand. We’re incredibly early in building out our messaging, our image, and our voice. You will help us define and discover what our brand looks like across social content (statics, short-form and long-form videos, etc.). You’ll need to be prepared for a lot of feedback, a lot of iteration, and a lot of discovery.

  • Triage and escalate our user communications. You’ll live in the comments section, in our DMs, and in our inbox. You’ll craft responses to user feedback, build direct relationships with users, and find ways to automate and templatize common issues. You’ll also be tasked with understanding and communicating common bugs users face and may be the first line of defense if an unknown issue with our product emerges.

  • Foster and grow our early user community. You’ll design and execute innovative ways to engage our most passionate supporters, including building one-on-one relationships with fans and organizing and maintaining community hubs (e.g., Discord, Slack, Instagram).

  • Manage the operations and analytics of the whole thing. You’ll need to organize our posting schedule, communicate the strategy to our founders, analyze the end-to-end funnel, and know how your content is doing and what needs to change to make it better.
