What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Work on backend system enhancements within eBay's Bulk Listing team, focusing on the development of scalable and high-performance Java applications, employing advanced Java features and optimization techniques to improve system efficiency and user experience. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to precisely gather and analyze requirements, implementing Java-based solutions that adhere to strict performance metrics and coding standards to ensure project alignment and success. Design and execute sophisticated Java solutions for new features, and perform critical updates on existing functionalities, applying best practices in code cleanliness, reuse, and decomposition to maintain an agile development environment. Work in tandem with front-end developers and project managers to integrate Java backend services with client-facing interfaces, ensuring robustness and seamless functionality that directly impacts user satisfaction and engagement. Contribute to quality assurance and test automation, applying rigorous testing methodologies and automation frameworks to elevate service reliability and streamline operational processes, contributing significantly to the product's market success. What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1.    Understand customer use cases, diving deep into the software development, and developing QA approaches to measure confidence in the product of the listing flow, and sign off for team weekly release.
2.    Participate in production testing during the final production push and provide production support and doing sign off work and regression work for weekly release.
3.    Create a framework from scratch using API testing tool called Karate for API Testing
4.    Assisted in developing keyword driven and descriptive programming framework for automation defects.
5.    Participate in architecture discussions, lead product design, code reviews and propose solutions to system and product changes.
6.    Work on POM (Page Object Model) automation framework using Kotlin automation on Native Android app.
7.    Work on Automated Testing Framework for Android Application Testing with Espresso and Kotlin.
8.    Responsible for writing and maintaining test cases in Testrail.
9.    Work with RESTful service, Spring & API design at scale.
10.    Develop and implement new features to the application.
11.    Understanding customer use cases, diving deep into the software development, and developing QA approaches to measure confidence in the product of the listing flow, and sign off for team weekly release.
Salary: $187,741.00-254,200.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
