About the team and the role:
eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in Austin, TX
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Design and develop software test automation frameworks for multiple services. Document, track and analyze the security and effectiveness of system-wide upgrades monthly. Develop and maintain continuous software integration frameworks. Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Create and maintain reports for metrics like software code coverage. Improve product and code testability by influencing design at the architecture phase. Track and handle software production bugs. Lead scrum meetings, plan automation, design, and implementation tasks. Develop best-in-class test automation code for software and carry out functional and non-functional testing including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed. Develop scripts for accessibility testing on UI (User Interface) applications. Test all existing services in the production environment to log bugs and improvements. Telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

3. Low-Level System Design – 1 year
4. Python - 18 months
5. Git/version control – 9 months
6. Jenkins/CI - 1 year
7. Quality Engineering (Functional, Regression, and Load Testing) - 2 years

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
