Sr Business Analyst -Airline Experience

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to elicit business requirements from a variety of stakeholders and represent the voice of the business and the customer
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborates primarily with stake holders, scrum teams and other stakeholders to identify and close product gaps.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lead sessions to create gap analysis documentation.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partner with various stakeholders/internal team to extract gaps and opportunities to be converted into the product backlog
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories with clear success criteria for QA and Development team
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Technical expertise to understand API specifications and create documentation
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience refining and clarifying requirements with both business and IT stakeholders by creating various artifacts such as process maps, wire frames, mockups, etc.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading sessions (discovery, requirements) and presenting findings to all levels of the organization
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with cross -functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Adequate technical acumen to communicate effectively with engineers and understand technical trade -offs
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lead grooming and clarification sessions to provide engineering, QA, and UAT teams detailed requirements to develop and test against
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partner with Product Managers to execute on the product roadmap by working with cross -functional teams to capture business requirements and create supporting artifacts
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partner with user experience to translate UI design and research into actionable development ready user stories.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partner with User Acceptance Testers to ensure the delivered product meets the business objectives and launch criteria
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience working in airline industry with commercial airline products and airline technology solutions companies.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at a given time while remaining organized, paying strict attention to detail, and meeting critical deadlines within a high volume, fast -paced environment
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Provide business analyst support for large transformational projects through activities such as requirements workshops, process mapping exercises, and gap analysis, training.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Be proactive and utilize critical thinking to make the right decisions for our customers and business.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Self -starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • 8+ years of business analyst experience, preferably in Omnichannel or eCommerce/Point of sale applications. 4+ years should be in the relevant airline solutions industry as Product Owner or Business Analyst is mandatory.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in implementing airline New Distribution Capabilities (NDC) is preferred
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with MS Visio or similar workflow process tools.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with JIRA or similar tools preferred.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Exceptional written and communication skills
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience working in agile delivery models preferred.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience working with product management teams preferred.
