Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Social Media Manager to lead and scale social media strategies across multiple lifestyle and fashion brands. This role is ideal for a creative thinker and relationship builder who can balance performance metrics with brand integrity. You'll be responsible for developing and executing organic social media programs, managing community engagement, and leading content planning aligned with seasonal priorities.

 

Location: Onsite 5 days a week at our NYC HQ

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all organic social media strategy and execution across multiple brands (including content planning, caption writing, scheduling, posting, and community engagement)
  • Scheduling finalized posts: assist with publishing approved content across platforms
  • First draft content grid: Help with planning and building the initial version of the monthly content calendar.
  • Story Planning: 
  • Build and manage monthly social content calendars that reflect brand messaging and seasonal priorities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, brand, ecomm, paid) to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms
  • Content Planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, creative, eCommerce, and paid teams to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize campaign impact.
  • Generate creative ideas for social-first content, influencer activations, and emerging platform trends.

 

Reporting

  • Monthly Social Reporting: Help with pulling and compiling social performance data as we transition to a monthly reporting cadence.
  • Weekly Social Reporting: Help pulling the grid/best-performing posts of the past week

 

Organic Social Content Support

  • Caption Writing: First Draft captions for upcoming planned organic social posts 
  • Post Inspiration: Pulling trending content and competitive inspo that aligns with our aesthetic and could be tested in our feeds 
  • Content Assets: Upload all influencer/retouched content into Figma (or Plann) to make grid planning more seamless and centralized.
  • Engaging with Community: Help monitor and engage with comments, tagged posts, DMs, and UGC across brand accounts to maintain a strong and responsive brand voice. 

 

4. TikTok Support - 

  • Video Uploads: Help uploading influencer and brand-created content to the Aerosoles TikTok platform, with proper captions, hashtags, and sound usage.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep an eye on trending TikTok formats and soundtracks that could be leveraged for timely brand posts.
  • Community Management: 
  • Scheduling and Publishing: Help start a consistent publishing cadence again 

 

Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in social media marketing—preferably in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle space.
  • Strong understanding of  Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and UGC strategy.
  • Proven track record managing creator relationships, campaign execution, and content performance.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns across brands and timelines.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Aspire, Plann, or similar influencer tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to brand voice, tone, and content quality.
  • A collaborative, self-starter mindset and a passion for building community-driven brand engagement.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $75k – 100k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
