eCommerce CRM Coordinator – 12 Month Contract
The UMC team works four days a week from our award-winning creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto, and one day to work virtually.
We are seeking a creative and organized eCommerce CRM Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the Director, Audience Development. This role is perfect for a talented copywriter who can also manage the hands-on execution of our email, text, and advertising campaigns. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and fan engagement for the UMUSIC brand and our artists by not only crafting compelling copy but also building and deploying engaging email, SMS, and advertising campaigns. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to bring our artist and brand stories to life, leveraging fan insights to foster loyalty and excitement.
How You’ll Lead:
CRM Campaign Execution & Creative Copywriting:
Take campaigns from concept to execution: Plan, write, build, and deploy a high volume of email and SMS campaigns to drive e-commerce sales, fan engagement, and retention
Develop creative copy for advertising assets to support promotional campaigns and product launches
Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure a cohesive and engaging brand voice across all channels
Audience-Centric Communication:
Translate fan data and insights into captivating and personalized copy for targeted email and SMS journeys (e.g., welcome series, post-purchase, win-back campaigns)
Develop a deep understanding of different fan segments to tailor messaging that resonates and builds a stronger connection with our artists and brand
Content Performance & Optimization:
Monitor and analyze CRM campaign performance, including open rates, conversions, and revenue impact
Provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and segmentation strategies
Monitor campaign performance to understand what copy, offers, and creative resonate most with our audience
Use insights to brainstorm new ideas and continuously improve the effectiveness and creativity of our campaigns
eCommerce Content Support:
Ensure all promotional messaging is creatively highlighted and consistent across email, social, and our e-commerce platforms.
What You Bring:
Digital marketing or creative with 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or copywriting. (A portfolio of your work with your application is preferred)
Gifted copywriter with a knack for crafting compelling and persuasive copy for emails, ads, and other digital assets.
Hands-on experience building and deploying campaigns using an Email Service Provider (ESP) or SMS marketing platform (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive, etc.).
Post-secondary degree or diploma in music, marketing and/or entertainment
