Position Overview
As an Event Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting event data to optimize event strategies and drive business outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth event execution, utilizing data insights to influence sales strategies, improve attendee experiences, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Data Management: Track, monitor, and report on all aspects of events, ensuring data accuracy across registration, ticketing, and attendance.
- Registration Management: Oversee event registration processes, including responding to attendee inquiries, making updates, and ensuring smooth operations using our proprietary ticketing system.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze event data to identify trends, develop actionable insights, and create detailed reports to inform strategic decision-making and drive sales tactics.
- Automation & Process Optimization: Collaborate with the web team to implement automation processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall attendee experience.
- Client & Partner Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients and event partners, addressing inquiries and providing necessary updates.
- Storytelling with Data: Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights and present findings to the Executive Team to support growth and event success.
- Self-Management: Proactively manage tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
- Event Support: Be available for occasional travel and weekend work as required by event schedules.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and the ability to build complex formulas.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data and insights clearly and effectively.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data interpretation skills with a focus on actionable insights, attention to detail, and the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Tools: Experience using Shopify and HubSpot is a plus, but not required.
- Global Perspective: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, maintaining composure under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to organize and manage large volumes of data.
