Position Overview As a Paid Social Strategist Freelancer, you’ll bring hands-on experience and strategic thinking to the development, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns. You will collaborate closely with internal account stakeholders to deliver strong performance outcomes for our clients across various paid social platforms. 

You will be the subject matter expert for all things Paid Social on your assigned accounts, owning end-to-end strategy, and performance analysis. This is a part-time, freelance role ideal for a self-motivated digital marketer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. We are looking for someone to help with a client 10-12 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities 
Serve as the Paid Social subject matter expert (SME) on client accounts, leading all strategic and tactical execution 
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align Paid Social efforts with broader marketing and business goals 
Oversee account budgeting, pacing, and performance metrics to ensure campaigns are on track and optimized toward client KPIs 
Leverage learnings and historical data to inform strategy, audience targeting, creative direction, and platform diversification 
Monitor and manage campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat 
Work with the Paid Social Manager to ensure smooth implementation of campaigns, from ad set creation to launch and optimization 
Regularly analyze performance data and prepare reporting insights 
Stay informed of the latest platform updates, trends, and best practices to keep strategies ahead of the curve 

Qualifications & Experience 
2+ years of experience managing paid social media campaigns, ideally with a focus on eCommerce clients 
1+ year of experience in a digital agency or fast-paced client services environment preferred 
Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, with the ability to build campaigns, audiences, ad sets, and creatives from scratch 
Platform experience with TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest 
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field 
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite) or Microsoft Office tools 
Detail-oriented, data-driven, and self-directed 
Able to thrive independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment 
Passionate about creative strategy and testing new platforms, ad formats, and campaign structures
