JOB SUMMARY

PIP is growing and seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join our IT team in Latham, NY. Reporting to the Director of IT, Digital Platforms, you’ll help build and optimize industry-leading websites and applications that support our global business. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to design engaging, high-performance digital experiences that showcase our brand. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented developer who’s passionate about clean design, modern UI/UX, and delivering seamless user interactions in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interacting with dynamic data from multiple sources (PIM / ERP)
  • Create responsive website applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass, Laravel, Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue JS 
  • Organize complex data sets and develop unique, user-friendly experiences 
  • Testing and debugging 
  • Maintain and develop existing company websites in Big Commerce and Shopify

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-4 years of experience in Front End Development
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or similar field preferred 
  • Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass 
  • Experience with version control software (GitHub) 
  • Hand code PHP to develop custom web applications 
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience 
  • Highly detail oriented 
  • Ability to problem solve complex issues quickly and efficiently 
  • Proven ability to work with a high-paced, dynamic team
