Position Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This role goes far beyond asset creation – our Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our customers’ mobile apps, supporting our Sales and Onboarding teams with polished collateral, and influencing design standards across our platform. You’ll collaborate with merchants and internal stakeholders to deliver beautiful, effective visuals that drive user engagement and support business goals. The ideal candidate is experienced in both graphic and UI/UX design, fluent in ecommerce best practices, and excited to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-quality, brand-aligned assets for newly onboarded merchants, including mobile app banners, app store screenshots and assets for Reactiv Clips.
  • Collaborate closely with merchants to understand their brand and creative vision, translating their ideas into compelling visual solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Onboarding, and Sales teams to produce internal and customer-facing materials such as pitch decks, sales one-pagers, onboarding guides, and feature highlights.
  • Write short-form content and in-app copy that complements visual design and supports a cohesive brand voice.
  • Maintain and evolve visual templates and brand systems to ensure design consistency across all merchant-facing touch points.
  • Stay ahead of design trends in mobile, ecommerce, and branding to help Reactiv and our customers stand out in a crowded market.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback on merchant-submitted assets, coaching them on best practices and ensuring alignment with app design standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements across our creative workflow, including asset delivery timelines, template creation, and feedback cycles.


Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and/or Sketch.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, UI/UX principles, and branded content creation for digital platforms.
  • Clear understanding of mobile user experience and user interface design best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently present and explain design choices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and openness to feedback, iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience designing for Shopify merchants, ecommerce brands, or mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with mobile design systems (iOS/Android) and responsive layout design.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into development.
  • Experience conducting or contributing to A/B tests and data-informed design iterations.
  • Understanding of marketing, conversion optimization, and branding strategy.


Education & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, UI/UX, or a related creative field.
  • Experience working within (or alongside) ecommerce brands or platforms is strongly preferred.
  • A portfolio of work that showcases your ability to design across various formats such as mobile apps, web, and brand collateral.
