We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Design Team as we continue to grow our brand and build cohesive customer experiences. At 1-800 Contacts, the CRM team is chartered with transforming how we engage and communicate with our customer base. A designer on this team is an essential role in creating on-brand, engaging email, merchandising, and digital marketing experiences.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with copywriters and other designers to design assets for email and other CRM channels — SMS, push notifications, and merchandising opportunities across web and app 
• Work directly with CRM marketing partners to translate business strategies into tangible creative assets 
• Coordinate creative campaigns with the  Acquisition, Product (site & app), and Social teams. 
• Take projects from concept to completion 
• Test, learn, and iterate 

What you'll need

• 2-5 years experience working as a graphic designer or similar role on an in-house creative team or agency environment. 
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work—email design and ecommerce experience 
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and writing skills 
• A growth mindset and a passion for your craft that embraces feedback in constant pursuit of personal growth and improving work 
• Ability to balance and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multiple simultaneous projects environment despite changing priorities 
• Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to work with marketing teams to concept and execute campaigns 
• A love of playing at the intersection of graphic design and marketing design 
• A hyper awareness of both tiny details and big picture stuff 
• Ability to present work to partners and effectively solicit and address feedback 
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud—Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
