eBay’s Managed Payments Global KYC team is looking for a KYC Data Analyst to help grow the Payments AML/KYC program at eBay and its subsidiaries. The perfect candidate is someone who offers a dynamic set of skills that understands AML policies including AML Risk Rating and has deep knowledge of data analysis to ensure program design meets policies and best practices.
This candidate would be responsible for conducting data analysis and working directly with product and engineering to implement technological solutions. The candidate should have the ability to influence decisions and build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders, and communicate effectively to design and implement solutions.
What you will accomplish:
Lead development of AML Risk Rating and Enhanced Due Diligence processes by providing data analysis to drive key decisions
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to make projects a reality
Support testing of the solutions and provide UAT support with stakeholders
Drive automation within KYC processes with new technologies such as GenAI
Be aware of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all deliverables
Use data analysis to drive optimal solutions to mitigate AML risks
Provide governance for KYC and EDD projects and controls by conducting analysis on their effectiveness
What you will bring:
2+ years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of AML and KYC
Proficient in SQL and Advanced Excel.
Expertise in building decision boards using visualization tools like Tableau.
Proficiency in Python and a good understanding of data warehouse architecture is required. Should have knowledge on Spark or Hadoop.
Experience working with system and data architecture, data classification, documenting end-to-end data flow and data lineage
Hands-on experience validating the accuracy of SQL logic querying large data sets and ensuring accuracy of data mapping to eBay’s data systems

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$71,600 - $123,400Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
