The Marketing Data Engineer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for architecting, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines across our marketing technology stack. You will enable end to end tracking, multitouch attribution, and actionable reporting through platforms such as Azure, Power?BI, and Microsoft Fabric, with deep expertise in GA4 tagging—especially within Shopify environments. Working within the Data Analytics team and partnering closely with marketing teams, you will harmonize tracking with broader business objectives and deliver best in class data capabilities.

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
5–8?years in marketing analytics, data engineering, or martech roles.
Technical Expertise
• Proven GA4 & Enhanced?eCommerce implementation on Shopify (including Liquid, data layers, GTM).
• Strong SQL and BI skills (Power?BI preferred).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft?Fabric.
• Familiarity with data warehouse platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Scripting in SQL, Python, JavaScript, or Liquid for tag customization and pipelines.
Data Engineering
ETL design, data modeling, complex queries, views, and multi-table troubleshooting.
Marketing Analytics
Google Analytics, cross channel attribution, and ad platform integration (Google, Bing, Meta).
Soft Skills
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication, proactive problem solving, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
