Job Title: Master Data Business Analyst
Location: Bolingbrook, IL (On-site)
Contract Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Business Analyst to join our team. This role serves as a business liaison supporting Merchandise systems, working collaboratively with Senior/Lead Business Analysts and IT teams. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in system documentation, administration, and UAT testing to ensure system stability and data accuracy.
Act as the primary support and system administrator for internal/external business partners.
Collaborate with Merchandising, MP&I, and Ecommerce teams to ensure proper system functionality and data integrity.
Manage system parameters, configurations, and enhancements within the Merchandise system.
Address and resolve daily work tickets related to master data and invoice discrepancies, escalating as necessary.
Support enterprise data governance by ensuring consistent and complete Master Data practices.
Participate in UAT and troubleshooting efforts across systems such as SAP and PIM.
Translate business requirements into functional documentation and technical deliverables.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve data or process issues efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
1–2 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related areas.
Familiarity with Merchandising, Ecommerce, Omni-Channel, and Supply Chain systems.
Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines using analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to connect data across systems and departments.
Experience with SAP (S4/HANA preferred) and PIM/PXM systems.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, clear business terms.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Retail or consumer goods industry experience is highly desirable.
