  • Position: Full-Time Paid Social Strategist
  • Location: Remote (Greater Toronto Area preferred)
  • Environment: 100% remote-first culture with occasional in-person team meetups
  • Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, potential bonuses and incentives ($70K - $80K CAD)

Job Summary


As a Paid Social Strategist, you’ll be the architect and executor of advanced campaigns across Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social platforms. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking media buyer with a sophisticated understanding of modern ad strategies, tracking, marketing technology, reporting and in-platform optimization.

The ability to lead strategic media planning and align campaigns with broader business objectives is critical to success. This isn’t just a behind-the-scenes role—you’ll have client relationships, present strategic roadmaps, and manage projects from pitch to performance.

You’ll work alongside and collaborate with other channel experts, including CRO, SEO, and Creative teams. This role is focused heavily on social media buying, but Google Ads and Programmatic experience are considered assets.


Responsibilities


  • Launch and optimize paid social campaigns
  • Lead client strategy calls and confidently present campaign performance
  • Manage and refine tracking with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and CRM integrations
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional digital strategies
  • Stay informed about platform updates and emerging ad tech
  • Guide 5–10 clients with thoughtful prioritization and clear communication
  • Create sharp, insightful reports that link campaign results to business goals
  • Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader within the OpenMoves team

 


Job Requirements


  • 3+ years of hands-on digital media buying experience (agency or in-house)
  • Deep platform knowledge of Paid Social Platforms (Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Some experience with tracking setup, analytics platforms (GA4), and CRM integration (HubSpot) is required
  • Proven client leadership skills—you’re confident running a Zoom and owning the room
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Bonus points for experienced communicators in SEO, CRO, creative, or web development collaboration, including experience with eCommerce
