About the Role:

We’re looking for a high-powered Fulfillment Solutions Engineer to join our M&A Integration team. This role is focused
on the critical financial and operational analysis required to successfully integrate a newly acquired company's
customers. You will be responsible for understanding an acquired company's fulfillment operations, translating them
into a scalable solution on Stord's platform, and developing the pricing strategies that are essential for retaining and
expanding this new customer base. Your work provides the core analysis that powers the M&A team's integration
strategy and ensures its financial success.

This role reports to the Solutions Consultant, M&A Integration.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Parcel Diligence & Discovery: You will lead the end-to-end diligence process for the parcel workstream. This includes conducting discovery sessions with acquired company stakeholders to meticulously document their current network, carrier contracts, parcel requirements, and pain points.

  • Design & Propose Value-Driven Solutions: You will analyze an acquired customer’s parcel network to understand how Stord’s offerings can add significant value. Based on this analysis, you will design the optimal parcel solution, develop the master financial models and pricing frameworks (rate cards) that will serve as the blueprint for all acquired customer renewals, and be responsible for delivering the final, compelling value proposition to key stakeholders.

  • Model & Simulate: Build sophisticated models for transportation and distribution networks, creating simulation tools to support the Stord M&A Integration team in strategic decision-making.

  • Contribute to the Integration Plan: You will be responsible for providing all necessary parcel-related inputs for the integration plan, including technical requirements, complexity, and pricing models, to the M&A Solutions Consultant and Program Manager.

  • Document & Manage Handoffs: You will create detailed technical documentation, including process flows and integration requirements, and own the final handoff to the M&A implementation teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Technology, or Business Administration is required.

  • Technology Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with various supply chain (ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS) or e-commerce technology tools (e.g., Shopify, Cartrover, Shipium).

  • Parcel Logistics Expertise: 2+ years of dedicated experience in small parcel or final-mile logistics, coupled with a deep understanding of the parcel ecosystem, including carriers, services, and modes.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Advanced Excel skills.

    • Basic proficiency in SQL, Python, and database tools.

    • Familiarity with shipping platforms and systems.

    • Experience working with various API protocols (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and/or knowledge of parcel shipping methods as they relate to carrier connections and label production systems.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities; a logical and detail-oriented thinker.

  • Communication Prowess: Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to navigate complex technical and functional discussions with ease. You can articulate intricate solutions to diverse audiences and clearly communicate value propositions to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Organizational Excellence: Highly organized and adept at managing multiple proposals simultaneously, each with varying requirements, priorities, and stakeholders.

Ownership Mentality: A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Bonus Points for:
Experience with 3PLs, fulfillment operations, and parcel shipping solutions.
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
An understanding of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and cross-functional collaboration in a sales or commercial setting.
