The salary range for this role will be $85,000 - $105,000/year.
POSITION SUMMARY (“What are we looking for?”)
We have an exciting new position as a full-time Performance Marketing Manager, reporting to the Senior Brand Director at The Honest Kitchen. The role is located at our San Diego, CA head office, but we are open to remote work!
In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue and brand awareness through effective digital marketing campaigns. You will develop and implement strategies that optimize performance across Paid Media (Paid Social, Search, DSP, and other emerging channels) and Lifecycle Marketing Channels (Email and SMS).
This role collaborates closely with the Brand, Ecommerce and creative teams, as well as manages external relationships (agencies & partners) to ensure cohesive messaging, content, and drive meaningful traffic and revenue for the business. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes all things digital! You spend time across all media platforms, know what’s trending and can bring fresh ideas to the table about how to connect with our consumers in a meaningful and cut-through way.
SCOPE OF POSITION
Develop and implement full-funnel campaigns to acquire, engage, and retain customers.
Oversee the media agency, providing guidance on strategy, planning, execution and performance tracking of paid media campaigns.
Collaborate with media agencies and Senior Brand Director on paid media measurement strategies, including A/B testing, incrementality testing and media mix modeling (MMM) to evaluate performance and guide optimization efforts.
Oversee Email and SMS agency, providing guidance for strategy, planning, execution and performance tracking.
Lead creation of all emails and SMS, including content guidance and approvals, and overall calendar management.
Lead creation of digital assets in partnership with Graphic Designer, UGC agency and Influencer Lead.
Lead creation and optimization of Landing Pages and/or Collections Pages in partnership with DTC Manager and Sr Brand Manager.
Provide monthly / quarterly reporting with insights and actions around improving performance vs. KPI benchmarks and optimizing creative assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional team on content focus, promotional activity and learnings from other channels (AMZ/Ecomm) to influence future marketing campaigns
Work with Sr Brand Director to forecast and manage advertising budget.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (“What are we looking for?”)
5+ years of experience with D2C marketing or agency experience
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Digital Marketing (or equivalent experience)
Experience driving digital strategy across various paid media platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, CTV, etc.)
Experience working with CRM programs (Klaviyo, Attentive or similar platform)
Experience developing creative briefs for digital ads and email campaigns, including briefing content creators and UGC partners.
Strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, working cross functionally with a team and managing deadlines
Tech-savvy, with the ability and interest to learn new technology solutions
Passionate about the customer with a strong interest in understanding and driving user behavior
Able to think both creatively and critically; willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
