We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior Frontend engineer, you will be responsible for executing web builds of varying scales and a wide variety of clients. You are passionate and excited about delivering great experiences. You are a coding dynamo who can evangelize, architect, and deliver solutions with best practices in mind. You are someone who loves the idea of helping both develop technology and a discipline.

What You Will Do

• Be the point person on individual projects
• Significantly contribute to the delivery of projects
• Help grow the department by participating in interview/hiring process
• Be a project leader while still an individual contributor
• Focus on department beyond project work
• Assist in scoping, estimating and allocating project work

Qualities and Qualifications 

• 5+ years general front-end development experience (HTML/Twig/liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS)
• 2+ years with SPA frameworks (React, Vue)
• Comfortable developing on top of various ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, SFCC/Demandware, BigCommerce)
• Comfortable developing on top of Content Management Systems (Contentful, WordPress, AEM)
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, general web functions and standards
• Experience with modern build tools (Git, Yarn, NPM, WebPack)
• Basic knowledge of creative tools such as Figma
• Good time management, problem solving and communication skills
• Experience with Static Site Generators such as Next.js
• Modern web practices (Static components, modules, responsive development)
• Working knowledge of Node.js server side development
• Experience with animations (Canvas, Motion, GSAP)
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand or similar)

Our interview process is designed to be thoughtful and transparent. It begins with a phone screen, followed by a take-home code test. Next, you’ll participate in a technical panel where we’ll review your submitted code and dive into your frontend expertise, particularly in React. The final step is a conversation with our leadership team to get to know you beyond the technical skills.

We aim for an ideal time-to-hire of 35 days and are committed to making the interview process efficient, engaging, and enjoyable for every candidate.

What We Offer 

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 to $115,000, plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
