Overview

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape how Recharge brings new product capabilities to market and scales adoption across core merchant experiences. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Sales, and Leadership to define positioning, messaging, and go to market strategy for both early stage product bets and established product lines. This is a high impact role with real ownership. You will operate in ambiguity, influence product direction through market insight, and turn strategy into clear, compelling narratives that drive adoption and growth. You will own product positioning, messaging, and launch execution, and enable go-to-market teams with the narratives and context needed to drive adoption.

Product Marketing at Recharge sits within Product and operates at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, and go-to-market execution. The team plays a critical role in shaping product bets early, validating positioning through discovery, and ensuring products land with clarity and impact. The work is highly visible, tightly connected to senior leadership priorities, and grounded in real merchant problems.

Please note: this is a hybrid role, based out of our Toronto office (downtown in the Core). 1 day per week in the office is expected.

What you’ll do

  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers throughout discovery, validation, and delivery, running customer research and problem exploration
  • Shape positioning and messaging informed by first-hand discovery, not post-hoc inputs
  • Lead go-to-market strategy from early concept through launch and post-launch iteration
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions for merchants
  • Drive early adoption for new product bets, using real customer feedback to refine messaging and positioning
  • Own post-launch performance and learning, partnering with Product and GTM teams to iterate on positioning, messaging, and approach based on results
  • Enable Sales, Partnerships, Implementations, Success, and Support with narratives, assets, and launch readiness that reflect true product intent
  • Collaborate with Product and Revenue Leadership on high impact product narratives and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Event Marketing to create storyboards and decks highlighting Recharge’s capabilities and roadmap
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing to optimize merchant acquisition funnels, ensuring product positioning and messaging are effectively translated into high-impact campaigns and experiments.
  • Live by and champion our values: Accountability, Collaboration, Iteration, and Details

What you’ll bring

  • 4+ years experience in Product Marketing, ideally in SaaS or platform products
  • Proven experience working upstream with Product teams, including participation in discovery and strategy, not just launch execution
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution
  • Excited by the prospect of speaking with customers on a regular basis
  • Ability to influence product direction without direct authority
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, early stage problem spaces
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive level storytelling
  • Customer first mindset with strong instincts for positioning and differentiation
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a bias toward learning through iteration
  • Ability to travel 20% of the year

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with ecommerce, subscriptions, or merchant facing platforms
  • Experience supporting zero to one or early stage product launches
  • Familiarity working closely with founders or senior leadership teams
