As a Senior Software Engineer, you are a Salesforce developer with full stack experience. You’ll work with the business and technical staff to deliver solutions and improve functionality using the Agile software development methodology to facilitate business opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Demonstrate and apply software engineering skills in appropriate programming languages on the appropriate platforms, including Salesforce
• Integrate purchased applications
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications
• Participate in activities related to Agile software development methodologies
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge, best practices, and standard procedures
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders from the business, working closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver value against roadmap
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify potential inefficiencies in all areas of the stack

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years’ Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL, Flow, Lightning Component Framework and Unit testing
• Experience within an Agile development environment
• Demonstratable leadership & technical abilities within application development, configuration, implementation, and support

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Current Salesforce Certifications
• Experience with one or more: Data Migration, ETL/Integration, IBM iSeries: COBOL, NodeJS, HTML, JavaScript and Front-end Apps
• Experience with application systems involved in the support of ecommerce, food distribution, and/or transportation
• Experience with Jira

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Some nights and weekends with on call availability to support business needs
• Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train for customer/vendor calls, training, or meetings.
