Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level SEO Specialist to join our digital team and take ownership of organic search performance across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can independently plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies while collaborating with content, development, and account teams.

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving website visibility and organic performance through data-driven strategies, combining traditional SEO best practices with emerging approaches such as AI-driven optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This role plays a key part in ensuring our clients remain competitive across both search engines and AI-powered search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive organic search strategies aligned with client business goals.

  • Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis to inform content and optimization efforts.

  • Own on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives across multiple client websites.

  • Identify SEO opportunities through audits, competitive analysis, and performance data.

Technical SEO

  • Perform technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema, etc.).

  • Collaborate with developers to implement SEO recommendations and resolve technical issues.

  • Ensure SEO best practices are followed during website updates, migrations, and new page launches.

Content & On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize existing content (blogs, landing pages, service pages) for search performance and user experience.

  • Collaborate with content creators to guide SEO-driven content creation.

  • Ensure content aligns with E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust).

Off-Page SEO

  • Support link-building and authority-building initiatives.

  • Monitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities and risks.

AI-Driven SEO & GEO

  • Stay current with emerging organic search trends, including AI-driven optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

  • Optimize content to be discoverable and authoritative in AI-powered search experiences.

  • Test and adapt strategies based on changes in search engine and AI platform behavior.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.

  • Prepare clear performance reports and actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment.

  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.

  • Proven experience with keyword research, SEO audits, and performance analysis.

  • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture from an SEO perspective.

  • Experience optimizing content for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.).

  • Exposure to AI-powered SEO tools and workflows.

  • Understanding of content strategy and conversion-focused SEO.

  • Experience supporting SEO strategy for U.S.-based clients.
