Description

Position Summary:

The SEO Specialist plays a key role in the DwyerOmega Marketing team. The SEO Specialist engages with their team to conduct keyword and competitor research, identify and prioritize areas for content improvement, analyze traffic data, and report on the performance of SEO efforts. The SEO Specialist will work closely with our in-house SEO content writer, our technical SEO specialist, and others on the content team to ensure that on-page SEO and content strategy are in line with SEO needs, business objectives, and the broader Marketing content strategy.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword & competitor research to identify opportunities for driving organic traffic & increasing search engine visibility
  • Develop & execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings, CTR, and overall website performance
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all website traffic is optimized for relevant keywords & follows best SEO practices
  • Monitor & analyze website traffic, rankings, & other relevant performance metrics using tools like GA4, Google Search Console, & other SEO software
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO
  • Generate regular reports on SEO performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
Requirements

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in an ecommerce environment or with large, complicated websites
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices

Essential/Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in using SEO Tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, AccuRanker, Moz, Majestic, etc
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions & optimizations
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams & external partners
  • Ability to use data-backed reasoning to prioritize and create project plans for large-scale projects
  • Background in, familiarity with, or understanding of engineering concepts and/or the industrial B2B space a plus

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Job is completely remote
  • No physical requirements other than being able to work full-time
Salary Description
85,000- 95,000
