We're seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager to join our dedicated client team and craft the trending, high-engagement content that will establish our client as a must-follow brand. This is an opportunity to drive new growth for established brands with proven market success while working within a dynamic team of ecommerce specialists at Neato.


Role Overview

As our Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager, you'll be both the creative force behind viral-worthy content and the authentic voice that builds lasting relationships with communities. This hybrid role combines content creation (70%) with community engagement (30%) for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Working under the guidance of a Digital Marketing Manager, you'll develop platform-native content that stops the scroll while fostering genuine connections that turn followers into loyal brand advocates.


Key Responsibilities


Content Creation (70% of role)

  • High-Volume Production: Create 3-4 pieces of content daily, including original productions, UGC adaptations, and trending format variations
  • Strategic Content Mix:
    • 40% Product-focused content (demos, features, transformations)
    • 30% Educational content (tips, advice, wellness)
    • 20% Entertainment content (trending formats, memes, viral adaptations)
    • 10% Community content (behind-the-scenes, team features, user spotlights)
  • Video Mastery: Produce short-form videos optimized for each platform's algorithm and audience behavior
  • Visual Excellence: Design and execute photo shoots featuring pets, products, and lifestyle moments


Community Management (30% of role)

  • Rapid Response: Reply to all comments and DMs within 2 hours during business hours (9am-6pm PST)
  • Relationship Building: Proactively engage with pet influencers, brand advocates, and community members
  • Brand Monitoring: Track brand mentions across platforms and respond appropriately to maintain brand reputation
  • Influencer Networking: Identify and build relationships with micro-influencers for potential collaborations


Platform Expertise

  • TikTok Leadership: Stay ahead of trends, sounds, and formats to create content with viral potential
  • Instagram Excellence: Develop cohesive feed aesthetics while maximizing Reels and Stories engagement
  • Facebook Community: Create shareable content that builds genuine community connections



Qualifications


Required Experience

  • 3+ years of social media content creation experience, preferably for consumer brands
  • Proven track record of creating high-engagement content (portfolio required with performance metrics)
  • Expert-level proficiency in content creation tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms and best practices
  • Experience with community management and customer service via social media
  • Genuine experience with pets, animals, or pet care products (personal or professional)

Location

This position is based at Neato's headquarters in Las Vegas, NV, with occasional hybrid work allowed. Some travel to client locations (approximately 1-2 times per quarter) may be required.
