FoodScience is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead hands-on content creation and organic social execution across our portfolio of brands. This is a creator-first role responsible for ideating, producing, and publishing high-performing, platform-native content that drives measurable engagement, brand awareness, and consumer connection.

This role serves as the primary organic social content owner across multiple brands, responsible for content ideation, short-form video production, community engagement, and performance optimization. Success in this role requires strong creative instincts, platform fluency, production capability, and the ability to translate brand strategy into engaging content that resonates with modern audiences.

This is a high-impact, creator-driven role with direct influence on brand growth and consumer engagement.

What You’ll Own

Content Creation & Production Excellence

  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish original short-form and static content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
  • Develop platform-native storytelling tailored to each channel’s audience and algorithm
  • Write compelling hooks, captions, scripts, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversion
  • Maintain visual and tonal brand consistency while adapting for platform nuances
    Manage a consistent content cadence across multiple brands

Strategy & Calendar Leadership

  • Build and manage multi-brand content calendars aligned to launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
  • Identify trends, viral formats, and emerging opportunities and translate them into brand-relevant content
  • Pitch creative concepts grounded in brand strategy and consumer insight
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Ecommerce, and Agency teams to ensure alignment

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Actively manage engagement, including comments, DMs, and brand mentions
  • Monitor and curate user-generated content opportunities
  • Support influencer and creator partnerships through content review and brand alignment

Performance & Optimization

  • Track weekly and monthly performance metrics including reach, engagement rate, video views, follower growth, and click-through
  • Identify high-performing organic content for paid amplification
  • Use data and insights to refine content strategy and improve performance over time
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify content gaps

Required Experience 

  • 3–5 years of hands-on social media content creation for consumer-facing brands
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating original short-form video production (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube required)
  • Proven ability to grow engagement and drive measurable performance through content quality and consistency
  • Expertise in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent)
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of social analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, Sprout Social, etc.)
  • Experience in CPG, health/wellness, pet, or DTC ecommerce preferred
