Brand Evangelist & Social Lead
This is not a “social media manager” job.
This is a brand evangelist role.
You are the person who:
- shows up online every day as Neato
- sparks conversations
- replies when people talk about Amazon, ecommerce, brands, or broken models
- turns ideas into content fast
- isn’t afraid to be on camera
- makes Neato feel human, sharp, and unmistakable

What you’ll do
Be the voice of Neato online
- Respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and conversations across platforms
- Engage in relevant Reddit threads, LinkedIn conversations, and online communities
- Know when to jump in, when to push back, and when to amplify
Create content (a lot of it)
You’ll personally:
- record talking-head videos (educational, opinionated, brand-driven, creative & fun content that is ENGAGING to our ICP)
- create short-form video for TikTok, Reels, Shorts
- post and manage content on:
- LinkedIn
- Instagram
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Facebook
- and emerging platforms as they matter
You’ll also:
- pull founders and teammates into content
- rally the office for trends or moments
- turn internal ideas into external stories
Build community, not just followers
- Start conversations, not campaigns
- Make Neato feel present in the places our ICP hangs out
- Help people understand how Neato thinks, not just what we sell
- Turn engagement into loyalty
Own social end-to-end
- Content ideation → creation → posting → engagement → iteration
- Track what’s working (and what’s not)
- Bring ideas, not excuses
- Have your finger on the pulse of latest social trends
What we’re looking for
You’re probably:
- bursting with content ideas
- chronically online (in a good way)
- comfortable being seen
- confident engaging publicly
- opinionated, but not reckless
- creative, but grounded
You must have:
- 3–6 years of experience in social media/content / community
- A portfolio of content you’ve created (personal or professional)
- On-camera experience
- Experience managing social channels directly
- Strong writing instincts and voice
You should love:
- creating, not just planning
- engaging, not hiding
- fast-paced environments
- experimenting publicly
- working in-office with a team

This role is creative, public-facing, and hands-on. We’re looking for people who love content, community, and storytelling, not just managing calendars.
Some questions require short videos (Loom is the easiest app for recording videos and is free) so we can understand how you think and show up on camera. Please be yourself. We care more about clarity, energy, and ideas than polish.
