As a Software Engineer, you will primarily focus on back-end development, contributing to the maintenance and new feature development of our advertising technology platform, Predict. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers, including the Principal Back-End Engineer, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of an Entry-Level Software Engineer?

    • Primarily engage in back-end development with potential for some front-end development.
    • Contribute to both maintenance (30-40%) and new feature development (60-70%).
    • Participate in two-week sprints using ClickUp for project management.
    • Collaborate with the product managers on sprint planning.
    • Contribute to technical and product roadmaps.
    • Have opportunities to learn and work with new technologies

What will I need to thrive in this role?

    • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on back-end development.
    • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; experience with Python, SQL, Go, ReactJS, or Java is a plus.
    • Proven ability to contribute to development projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Experience with leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance software development processes, improve code quality, and drive innovative solutions.
    • Strong engineering fundamentals.
    • Adaptability and a desire to learn.
