The Opportunity
As a Senior Platforms SAP Basis Engineer (w/m) you are responsible for the smooth operation of the globally distributed SAP systems. These are S/4 HANA and BW/4 HANA, on-premise HCM, ECC CA, FI, MM, BW, GRC and Solution Manager.
You are an important contact in the global team of SAP Basis Administrators in the event of disruptions in the SAP System and process them according to the agreed service level. You'll maintain productive relationships with partners, global, regional and local IT colleagues. This is a hybrid position in West Chester, PA.

- As a Platforms SAP team member, you help building end-to-end platform Knowledge/Engineering expertise: transforming the operation/support model from domain focused to platform /engineered focused
- You will report to a Director of Software Engineering
Your Impact
- Ensure the Operating of the SAP systems used in cooperation with the departments involved
- Provide technical advice and support of the departments on the basis of their industry, process and SAP knowledge and within their special topics
- Responsible for implementation of new SAP Systems, SAP upgrades and SAP release changes, and the import of SAP support packages, SAP system copies and the relocation of SAP system landscapes
- Participation in the SAP Basis On-Call Service (Remote)
- Ensure root-cause analysis is completed and insights are integrated into new or revised SOPs
- Tailors communication of technical information to partners
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related technical experience.
- 7+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience
- 2+ years working in Agile delivery methodologies (Kanban/Scrum).
- Certificate as a SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration or an ITIL Certificate
- SAP HANA Certified Consultant
- Experience in at least 2-3 SAP S/4 HANA end-to-end implementations on Cloud platform, Azure cloud technology
- Practical experience in administration of SAP SOLMAN, Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Data Services, SAP BW/4 HANA & SAP PI/PO or other integration platforms
- Expertise in technical planning, installations and configurations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates
- Demonstrated architecture and design expertise with enterprise server and storage networking projects to support SAP in large-scale environments
- Mastery of SAP HANA in-memory platform primary technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, system integration and Backup & Recovery
- Knowledge on environment migration, high availability, disaster recovery and capacity planning for multiple SAP applications and HANA databases
- Experience in Solution manager 7.2 CHARM and Focused Solutions (Focus Build and Focus Insight) implementation, ITSM integration and CTS+ configuration
- Experience in system copy activities on SAP ABAP, JAVA on HANA databases
- Knowledge on Data Services implementation, job scheduling, troubleshooting and repository management
