The Web Developer for Biamp will work under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager and is
responsible for building, maintaining and updating company websites, website properties, digital
marketing campaigns and utilizing analytics data to inform best practices. This role will also develop
data integrations that will intersect with multiple internal and external databases & systems. Attention
to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to understand website change requests into the
website’s functionality is crucial. This Web Developer position will be responsible for the development
and management of Biamp’s websites and for the implementation of projects assigned by the Digital
Marketing Manager. Please be sure to fully share your skills and experience (even if it includes other
items not listed below).
How you'll contribute:
Daily maintenance, design and management of multiple Biamp website properties, including WordPress websites
Creating new web and landing web pages for a variety of campaigns, launches and promotions, and other online channels
Assists in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, web development, SEO and email marketing
Analyze website analytics and customer behavior to enhance conversion and create actionable recommendations based on findings
Collaborate with other members of marketing/engineering/customer support/product management/IT/HR/management teams to create web content consistent with company branding
Facilitate work with outside vendors/contractors who provide web development and support services
Keep up to date with current digital marketing techniques and technologies
A successful candidate should have:
Minimum of 3-5 years of front-end, web development experience (Backend web development is a plus)
Extensive experience & knowledge of Sitefinity CMS (version 12 or higher), Wordpress, HTML 5, CSS3, Javascript, and other core frontend skills
Experience with modern frameworks: React, Vue, Angular
Effectively utilize the latest customer experience (CX) maturity models, processes, tools, and user experience (UX) techniques to craft various assets to support web processes, including persona development, journey mapping, and metrics mapping and analyses
RESTful API & GraphQL design and integration
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
Authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SAML)Must have demonstrated experience working within a CMS to create and update web sites
Occasionally helps manage marketing automation platform
Familiarity with MS Dynamics CRM integration with websites is a plus
eCommerce integration and/or management experience is a plus
Problem-solving & analytical thinking
Adaptability to new technologies and workflows
Clear technical communication for non-technical audiences
Strong documentation practices
Candidates will be required to present a portfolio of work
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Excellent people and management skills; must be able to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Experience working with dealer/wholesaler, sales/distribution channels both global and domestic
Experience in professional AV industry highly desirable
Experience w/ Unified Communications highly desirable
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Customer Relationship Management database skills preferred
Ability to travel both internationally and within US up to 25% of the time
Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
Work Environment:
Office environment may sit for long periods of time
Routine use of standard office equipment
