Type: Full-Time

We're seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to help reshape how brands communicate—by empowering them to market with precision, not excess. You’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable systems that turn noisy customer data into clear insights for smarter machine learning decisions. It’s a fast-moving, hands-on role with a tight-knit engineering team and real impact from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain robust data pipelines that scale across high-volume sources
  • Develop an event taxonomy and normalization layer for clean, consistent data ingestion
  • Use tools like Airflow and dbt to manage data workflows and transformation
  • Collaborate with data science and ML teams to support model training and deployment
  • Design optimized data models for reliable storage and analysis
  • Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues across the full pipeline
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes with a sharp eye for performance and reliability
  • Contribute to feature engineering and A/B test infrastructure in big data environments
  • Uphold high standards for data quality, security, and governance

You Bring

  • 5+ years in data engineering, working with complex, high-volume systems / significant data. Think Spotify, Wayfair, Shopify, Netflix etc...
  • Strong Python and SQL chops
  • Experience with asynchronous Python
  • Familiarity with DAG tools like Airflow, dbt, or Dagster
  • Comfort jumping between reporting layers and infrastructure architecture
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying data solutions
  • Knowledge of dev-ops best practices and containerized environments
  • Strong communication skills—able to translate technical complexity clearly
  • Ownership mindset with a bias for building, refining, and shipping production-quality systems

The position is fully remote but you must be based in the US. We will pay up to $230k per annum + benefits
