 This position is eligible for partial telework. All employees must reside in NC within commuting distance of the Raleigh location.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal/external teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects. Translate business needs into functional specifications and communicate technical requirements to development teams.
  • Analyze business data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights that support business decisions. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, customer behaviors, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to help guide strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate existing business workflows, processes and systems, and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Work with technical teams to design solutions that align with business goals, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new business systems and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and team members, to ensure alignment and clear understanding of project goals. Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems or processes.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements: 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. 
  • Experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering and documentation techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAS, SAP).
  • Experience with project management software (Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence,Trello).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn new applications and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management is a plus (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
  • Experience in lottery/gaming industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or eCommerce platforms is an advantage.

 

Hiring Rate: $67,984 (positions filled at or near the posted minimum)
